Practical Aspects

Access to the UPV and Transportation

  • The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is well connected by taxi, Metrovalencia, and urban buses EMT. More information at: https://www.congresoacede.org/es/apartado/como-llegar
  • The entrance for the DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM on SUNDAY, June 16, is through gate L (next to Colegio Mayor Galileo Galilei). On Sunday, it will be necessary to present an ID at the entrance. For the rest of the days, access is free, although it is recommended to use the same gate.
  • On Sunday, sessions will be held in the Department of Business Organization (DOE) building, building 7D on the Campus. On Monday and Tuesday, the conference will take place at the Faculty of Business Administration and Management (FADE), building 7J.
  • Although you can take a free-moving taxi without going to a taxi stand, the nearest stand to the Congress venue is at the intersection of Avda. Blasco Ibáñez and C/Ramón Llull. Some taxi companies in the city are: Radio Taxi (963 70 33 33), Teletaxi Valencia (963 57 13 13), and Taxi Valencia (960 65 30 59).

Work Sessions

  • The presentation schedule is between 8:30 and 16:30 on Monday and Tuesday.
  • For presentations, you can use the classroom computer or your own laptop with HDMI connection. To use the classroom computer, if you are from an institution other than UPV, you can use your institution's credentials to connect to the international WiFi network eduroam and have Internet access. You can also connect to WiFi via UPV-PUBLIC by following these instructions: UPV-PUBLIC - Corporate Applications Manuals - Confluence. To connect with your own laptop and HDMI connector, in both cases, you can make a wireless projector connection: Turn on the projector. On the laptop (not for MAC), press the Windows key + k key to see the wireless devices you can connect to, depending on the classroom you are in, different names will appear, but you should choose the name of your classroom to avoid connecting to a projector in a neighboring classroom. It will ask for a connection code, if it does not appear on the projection screen, press the search button on the remote control to change the input.
  • The plenary lectures will be held in the Nexus Auditorium, building 6G, very close to the Faculty of Business Administration and Management.
  • Certificates of attendance, presentation, etc., will be sent in July.
  • Abstracts will be published in a book with an ISBN: 978-84-09-62822-3.

Social Activities

  • The conference meals and coffee breaks will be held in the Hall of the Faculty of Business Administration and Management (FADE).
  • For the Sunday and Tuesday dinners, buses will leave from gate L (next to Colegio Mayor Galileo Galilei) to the restaurants. On Monday, attendees must reach the La Ferradura Restaurant on their own.
  • Every day (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) there are return buses from the restaurants, which will stop at UPV, Calle Clariano / Avenida Blasco Ibáñez, CC El Saler, Gran Via / Avenida Aragón, Plaza de España, and Nuevo Centro.

- MONDAY 17th there will be 4 return buses from La Ferradura at 23:30 and 4 return buses from La Ferradura at 00:30.
- TUESDAY 18th the return from Masia Xamandreu will be STAGED: 2 buses at 12.30 pm, 2 buses at 1.30 pm, 2 buses at 2.30 pm, 3 buses at 3.30 pm.

  • Do not miss the Scale-up by UPV activity on Monday at 20:00 at the La Ferradura Restaurant.
  • All dietary intolerances have been accommodated. There will always be vegetarian/vegan and lactose/gluten-free food options. Additionally, main courses are adapted. At dinners, simply identify yourself to the waiter for recognition, as the catering companies have records of each case.
