At the congress we will know the essential Valencia and its world heritage sites with Turiart-Culture, tourism and art, enjoying a guided walk through the historic center.

The guided walk will be on Monday, June 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will start at the Serranos Towers (Torres de Serranos), where we will find the guides with red backpacks with the Turiart logo. This is a walking tour that does not include transportation or entrance fees.  It will end near the North Station (Estación del Norte).

To get to the Serranos Towers from the UPV you can go to:

  • On foot → about one hour.
  • By taxi → the nearest taxi rank to the Congress venue is at the junction of Avda. Blasco Ibáñez and C/Ramón Llull.

  • By Metrovalencia → from any of the stops on Avda. dels Tarongers, getting off at Pont de Fusta station, the Serranos Towers are about ten minutes' walk away. Information about tickets at https://www.metrovalencia.es/es/titulos-transporte/

We will visit the historic center, seeing from the outside some of the most emblematic monuments of the city of Valencia such as Serranos Towers (Torres de Serranos), Virgin Square (Plaza de la Virgen), Queen Square (Plaza de la Reina), Central Market (Mercado Central), Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda), Rounded Square (Plaza Redonda), Town Hall Square (Plaza del Ayuntamiento) and the North Station (Estación del Norte). In addition, the World Heritage Sites (material or intangible) recognized by UNESCO will be explained: The Water Tribunal, next to the Cathedral; the Fallas, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento; the Mediterranean Diet, in front of the Central Market; the Silk Eschange.
